Description
This print is taken from a painting by Scott Naismith, he has taken an aerial view over Clew Bay, County Mayo, Republic of Ireland. He uses deep blues and greens over the Clare Islands which guard the bay. As the sunsets it reflects on the water’s surface in bright yellows and oranges.
Scottish born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jordanstone college of art in Dundee. He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work are adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser.
