Every year we try to bring a fresh touch to our boutiques in Edinburgh. That involves shutting the shops for a couple of days and cracking on with rollers, brushes & poly-fillers. All to keep the shop smart!
This year we've decided to use a blue-green colour on the floors. Many people asked us where we get our paint from so here is the answer: we pick a colour and then ask for it to be mixed by Johnstone's Trade. We've been using their Flortred paint for years and we are coming back for more! This year we've used the water-based alternative for the first time. Fingers crossed it's going to be just as good as the original floor paint they do.
Having freshly mended white walls is a great opportunity to put up new shelves and re-thing the shop's layout. The only downside being caution with making new holes! If you think that we don't have enough pictures up - please be patient :) We are trying to enjoy the whiteness that definitely won't last long!
