Ritchie was born in Prestwick, on the west coast of Scotland and has painted all his life. Ritchie’s art is influenced by the coast and wild countryside with Celtic art, myths, and Scottish folklore as his source of inspiration. He uses vibrant colours and textures to give his paintings their unique magical quality. Ritchie lives and works in Edinburgh. You can read our interview with the artist here.
