Description
Low Cloud at Melvich Beach, Sutherland, is an open edition print that has been taken from an original painting by Arie Vardi. This scene from the North coast of Scotland looks along the shoreline of a beach to the mountains ahead. Arie uses contrasting light yellow and dark sky colours to reflect the dramatic Scottish weather. With a colour palette of a clear day, he uses shades of white and grey dotted around to brighten up the picture. There are little pops of purple and pink blooms highlighting the shore.
