This print of Loch Leven is taken from a painting by Scott Naismith. A winter’s day in the Highlands of Scotland is such a beautiful sight. With a colour palette of blues, whites and greens. The snow capped mountains reflect in the waters below creating a bright and hopeful image.
Glasgow born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jordanstone college of art in Dundee. He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work are adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees. In return he has created these beautiful colourful works of art that give us a feeling of optimism and hope. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.
All of the Scott Naismith images we sell are limited to 195 copies plus 20 artists proofs, they come rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity. These prints are printed on demand but we will make sure to have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
