This print was taken from a painting of Edinburgh’s iconic landmark Edinburgh Castle. An abstract image using a colour palette of greens, blues, purples and oranges. A beautiful scene of Scotland’s capital, the sun breaking through the clouds shining on to the castle below.
Glasgow born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jordanstone college of art in Dundee. He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work are adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees. In return he has created these beautiful colourful works of art that give us a feeling of optimism and hope. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.
All of the Scott Naismith images we sell are limited to 195 copies plus 20 artists proofs, they come rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity. These prints are printed on demand but we will make sure to have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
