Description
Found on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland this Bronze Age, Standing Stone circle has been painted by Scott using deep colour palette of pinks, purples, oranges, greens and blues. The sun is shining behind the stones making beautiful shadows on the ground beneath them. I have always been fascinated by the rituals behind Standing Stones, there are so many stories in folklore and history explaining why the stones exist as they do.
Glasgow born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jordanstone college of art in Dundee. He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.
All of the Scott Naismith images we sell are limited to 195 copies plus 20 artists proofs, they come rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity. These prints are printed on demand but we will make sure to have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
