Description
Kilbrachan Sound is an open edition print that has been taken from an original abstract painting by Arie Vardi. This delicately coloured landscape was inspired by the west coast of Scotland. You can see the details and marks left by the artists’ palette knife and paint brushes. The artist uses a pale colour palette of greys, browns and white, with flashes of blue in the sky and orange across the land below.
Chile born Arie Vardi moved to Jerusalem to study Graphic Design. Following graduation in 1991 he moved to Scotland. Many of his paintings are inspired by his love of Perthshire, Scotland and the Mediterranean. This is reflected in the vibrant colour palette he uses in his work. Arie paints using acrylic, oils and mixed media, and often experiments with light and the way it moves across a scene creating shadows and pops of colour.
All of the Arie Vardi prints we sell are open edition, they will be delivered to you rolled in a tube. These are printed on demand but we will ensure to have them delivered to you as soon as possible.
