We love these dinky prints by Scott Naismith! They fit into any wall and space adding a dynamic pop of colour. The Glasgow-born artist has been our firm favourite for years. Each print comes mounted in a chunky 3mm white window mount and backing, wrapped in a cellophane pocket.
This is a beautiful print of The Buachaille, the mountain found at the end of Glen Etive in the West Highlands of Scotland. The Buachaille Pyramid stands proud in this painting, the bright blue sky’s silhouette the mountain. In the foreground Scott has used a brighter colour palette of pinks, purples, blues and greens. This painting reminds me of many a journey up to Fort William, visiting my parents, driving past here and into Glen Coe was my favourite part of the journey.
Glasgow born Scott Naismith had always wanted to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jornanstone college of art in Dundee. He has since become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work is adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees. In return he has created these beautiful colourful works of art that give us a feeling of optimism and hope. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.
