Description

This beautiful Scottish print has been taken from a painting of Buachaille Etive Mor, the mountain found at the end of Glen Etive in the West Highlands of Scotland.  The colour palette used in this painting is more muted than Scott’s other work, he uses greys, blues and purples with a flash of yellow where the sun is trying to break through the clouds.  This painting reminds me of travelling up to Fort William, to visit my parents, driving past here and into Glencoe was my favourite part of the journey.

Scottish artist Scott Naismith had always aspired to be an artist and attended the Duncan Jordanstone college of art.  Since then he has become a hugely successful artist and sells his work all over the world. The vivid colours used in Scott’s work are adapted to an idea rather than to match what he sees.  In return he has created these beautiful colourful works of art that give us a feeling of optimism and hope. Scott’s artwork is a firm favourite in Curiouser and Curiouser. We always have his work hanging on the shop walls to add a pop of colour.

All of the Scott Naismith images we sell are limited to 195 copies plus 20 artists proofs, they come rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.  These prints are printed on demand but we will make sure to have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
